Well Taken Care of
Jake Hinkins was the lawyer we used for our surrogacy journey. I believe I was the first surrogate that he had worked with, but he was fantastic and very knowledgeable when we went through the contract and court phases. He helped to make sure that the contract was fair, and covered all of my bases as the surrogate. We were running on a tight deadline due to the nature of surrogacy -with needing to have documents submitted and finalized before the egg donor could be cycled, and such- and he was great about making sure everything was done before those deadlines were near. Everything went off without a hitch, and the intended parents were overjoyed to welcome their twins into the world knowing that all of the legalities were taken care of well before the babies were born.
